Founding Partner
Ed brings four decades of experience across software engineering, Wall Street, entrepreneurship, and venture capital. He is the founder of IA Seed Ventures and a partner at Tilden Capital.
His personal portfolio includes more than one hundred companies, with notable investments including Mercury Financial, Poshmark, Opendoor, Snyk, Protocol Labs, and BioAge. Ed holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and is based in Berkeley, California.
At Tilden Family Office Group, Ed leads investment research and direct deal sourcing.
Murray Newlands
Partner
Murray brings a background in operating, media, and executive community building. He is a partner at IA Seed Ventures and runs Open Future Forum, an executive community across AI, cybersecurity, and emerging technology.
His writing on technology reaches more than fifty thousand readers on Substack. He has contributed to Forbes and Inc., and previously operated at Turing.com.
At Tilden Family Office Group, Murray manages investment research, direct deal sourcing, member relations, and next-generation education.
